Return & Exchange Eligibility
Portable oxygen concentrators are prescription medical devices that are ordered specifically to meet each customer’s oxygen requirements. Because of the nature of these products, returns and exchanges are subject to inspection and approval.
Important: Portable oxygen concentrators are prescription medical devices and are often ordered specifically for each customer. Returns are subject to approval and may be subject to a 25% restocking fee plus shipping charges.
Medical Device Return Policy
When you purchase a portable oxygen concentrator from Inspired Portable Oxygen, you are purchasing a prescription medical device that is ordered specifically to meet your oxygen requirements.
Because of the nature of these products, all returns require prior authorization and are subject to inspection and approval.
Return requests must be submitted within 14 days of delivery. Approved returns must be received in like-new condition with all original packaging, accessories, batteries, manuals, and components.
Approved returns are subject to:
• A 25% restocking fee
• Return shipping charges
• Any costs required to restore the unit to saleable condition
Refunds are issued only after the returned equipment has been received, inspected, and approved.
Products showing signs of smoking, vaping, pet contamination, physical damage, excessive wear, odors, misuse, or missing components may be denied for refund.
Special-order products may not be eligible for return.
All returns require a Return Authorization Number (RA#) prior to shipment.
Exchange Eligibility
Portable oxygen concentrators are prescription medical devices selected based on each customer’s oxygen requirements. If you believe a different model may better suit your needs, please contact us as soon as possible.
Exchange requests must be submitted within 14 days of delivery and require a Return Authorization Number (RA#).
To qualify for an exchange, the unit must be returned in like-new condition with all original packaging, accessories, batteries, manuals, and components.
Approved exchanges are subject to:
• A 20% restocking fee
• Return shipping charges
• Any price difference between products
• Inspection and approval upon receipt
Products showing signs of smoking, vaping, pet contamination, physical damage, excessive wear, odors, misuse, or missing components may not qualify for exchange.
Special-order products may not be eligible for exchange.
Additional Policies
Special-Ordered Items
Special-ordered products are items that have been ordered specifically from the manufacturer to satisfy a customer’s prescribed oxygen requirements or requested configuration.
Because these products are purchased specifically for each customer, special-order items may not be eligible for cancellation, return, refund, or exchange.
If a return or exchange is approved, it may be subject to:
• A 25% restocking fee
• Shipping charges
• Inspection and approval requirements
• Additional fees required to restore the unit to saleable condition
Inspired Portable Oxygen reserves the right to determine eligibility for returns, refunds, exchanges, and cancellations on all special-order products.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept any returns or cancel orders for special-ordered items.
No Smoking Policy
Portable oxygen concentrators approved for return or exchange must be used only in a smoke-free environment.
Evidence of smoking, vaping, cigar use, pipe smoking, marijuana use, smoke residue, strong odors, pet contamination, bodily fluids, excessive dirt, or other contamination may result in denial of any return, refund, exchange, or warranty-related request.
Any unit returned with evidence of contamination or odors may be deemed ineligible for refund or exchange.
Manufacturer warranty coverage may also be affected if the equipment has been exposed to smoking or other prohibited environmental conditions.
Refused Shipments
Refused shipments, orders cancelled after shipment, and returns without prior authorization may be subject to a 25% restocking fee, return freight charges, and any costs associated with inspection or reconditioning.
Customers are not responsible for shipping charges related to equipment damaged during transit when damage is properly documented at the time of delivery.
Trade-In & Buy-Back Program
If you no longer need your portable oxygen concentrator or would like to trade your current unit in for another model, we offer trade-in and buy-back programs after 30 days.
Please contact us to find out if your portable oxygen concentrator qualifies for our trade-in or buy-back programs.
Damaged Items
Please inspect your shipment immediately upon delivery.
Any shipping damage, missing items, or product defects must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.
Please retain all original packaging and take photographs of any visible damage so that we can assist with a shipping claim or replacement.
Damage resulting from customer use, misuse, accidents, or unauthorized modifications is not covered under this policy.
Cancellations
Orders cancelled prior to shipment will generally not incur a cancellation fee.
Once an order has shipped, it is considered delivered merchandise and any approved return will be subject to the applicable return policy, restocking fees, shipping charges, and inspection requirements.
Special-order products may not be eligible for cancellation once the order has been submitted to the manufacturer.
Process for Returns & Exchanges
The return and exchange policies described above apply only when:
• A Return Authorization Number (RA#) has been issued by Inspired Portable Oxygen.
• The request is submitted within the applicable return or exchange period.
• The unit is returned in like-new condition with all original packaging, accessories, batteries, manuals, and components.
• The equipment passes inspection upon receipt.
• The unit shows no evidence of smoking, vaping, pet contamination, bodily fluids, excessive wear, odors, misuse, or physical damage.
• The product is not otherwise excluded under our Special-Order Product Policy.
Please note that return or exchange approval is not guaranteed and remains subject to inspection and verification.
Return Instructions
If you believe your product qualifies for a return or exchange, please contact Inspired Portable Oxygen to request a Return Authorization Number (RA#).
Returns sent without an approved RA# may be refused and returned to the sender.

Repairs & Service
Every portable oxygen concentrator sold by Inspired Portable Oxygen includes a manufacturer’s warranty. We are happy to assist customers with both warranty and non-warranty service requests.
Warranty coverage, repair eligibility, and replacement parts are subject to the manufacturer’s terms and conditions.
For damage resulting from accidents, misuse, neglect, unauthorized modifications, liquid exposure, contamination, or other customer-caused issues, the customer may be responsible for repair costs, replacement parts, labor charges, and shipping expenses.
Customers requiring service should contact Inspired Portable Oxygen for troubleshooting assistance and repair instructions before shipping any equipment.
Portable oxygen concentrators requiring factory service may need to be shipped to the manufacturer or an authorized service center. Shipping costs may apply unless otherwise covered by the manufacturer.
Policy Updates
Inspired Portable Oxygen reserves the right to modify, update, or revise these policies at any time without prior notice. The policy in effect at the time of purchase shall govern the transaction.
