Will I be able to use the Oxlife Independence system as a full-time machine?

The Independence is both a continuous flow and pulse flow oxygen delivery system and it is robust enough to withstand everyday use making it an ideal single oxygen solution. O2 Concepts states the Independence can be used 24/7/365. The Independence includes an industry-best 5 year factory warranty, reducing your repair costs over the life of the unit.

Can I use insurance to purchase an Independence from Inspired Portable Oxygen?

No. Typically, Insurance doesn’t purchase portable oxygen concentrators. Insurances may pay a small rental fee for oxygen equipment only if a supplier has a Medicare or Medicaid supplier number. Inspired Portable Oxygen, the operator of this website, does not have a Medicare or Medicaid supplier number. Insurance will not pay for any medical equipment and supplies we sell to you.

Is financing available for the Independence system?

Yes, We do offer simple financing with approved credit for all our portable concentrator models. Please give us a call to discuss which model/package works best for you and we will help you get started on the simple financing application.

Will the Independence work for me?

Depending on your oxygen requirements and how you plan on using the device, it’s likely that it will! The most common prescription for oxygen is 2-3 liters per minute, and the Independence delivers oxygen up to 3 LPM continuous flow. The Oxlife Independence system is only available by prescription. If you are currently using supplemental oxygen prescribed by a doctor we will work with you and your doctor to help get you the correct system.

I'd like to get a loved one an Independence portable concentrator. How do I do that?

If your loved one is currently on oxygen, the Independence or one of our other top models, is likely to work great for them! You can purchase any model portable oxygen concentrator to own and we will help get the necessary doctor’s prescription for you. We have special sale packages available.

My current oxygen equipment company said they can't assist me in getting any model portable oxygen concentrator. What should I do?

Because most oxygen equipment companies are dealing with Medicare and Insurance rental constraints, portable oxygen concentrators are not readily available from most home oxygen equipment providers. This is why we chose to be a discount retailer. You can purchase a top quality system from us, at a significant discount, and keep your current oxygen equipment you may be getting through insurances.

Can I fly with the Independence oxygen concentrator?

Yes! The O2 Concepts OxIife Independence portable oxygen machine is FAA Approved. Each unit has a label on the back indicating it is FAA Approved.

Will the Independence system work with my CPAP?

Yes. Continuous flow oxygen delivery is recommended for use with CPAP or BiPAP devices. The Independence unit delivers up to 3 liters continuous flow. If your Rx is for a liter flow of 3LPM or less, then the Independence will work great with CPAP.

How much does the Independence cost?

Your cost depends on which Independence package you choose. You can customize a package that works best for you and your budget.
