How much does the XPLOR POC weigh?

The unit weighs roughly 4 pounds with the battery.

Will I be able to use the XPLOR system as a full-time machine?

The XPLOR  is a device meant to withstand everyday use, however, using it 24/7/365 is not recommended. The XPLOR  is not recommended for use while sleeping. It’s best to use your home oxygen concentrator at night during sleep. Our XPLOR includes a standard 3 year warranty.

Can I use insurance to purchase an XPLOR from Inspired Portable Oxygen?

No. Typically, Insurance doesn’t purchase portable oxygen concentrators. Insurances may pay a small rental fee for oxygen equipment only if a supplier has a Medicare or Medicaid supplier number. Inspired Portable Oxygen, the operator of this website, does not have a Medicare or Medicaid supplier number. Insurance will not pay for any medical equipment and supplies we sell to you.

Is financing available for the XPLOR system?

Yes, We do offer easy financing with approved credit for all our portable concentrator models. Please give us a call to discuss which model/package works best for you and we will help you get started on the simple financing application.

Will the XPLOR work for me?

Depending on your oxygen requirements and how you plan on using the device, it’s likely that it will! The most common prescription for oxygen is 2-3 liters per minute, and the XPLOR delivers oxygen from 1-4 using pulse dose delivery. The XPLOR system is only available by prescription. If you are currently using supplemental oxygen prescribed by a doctor we will work with you and your doctor to help get you the correct system.

I’d like to get a loved one an XPLOR portable concentrator. How do I do that?

If your loved one is currently on oxygen, there is a good chance the XPLOR or one of our other top models, will work for them! You can purchase any model portable oxygen concentrator to own and we will help get the necessary doctor’s prescription for you. We have special sale packages available.

My current oxygen equipment company said they can’t assist me in getting any model lightweight portable oxygen concentrator. What should I do?

Because most oxygen equipment companies are dealing with Medicare and Insurance rental constraints, portable concentrators are not readily available from most medical equipment providers. This is why we chose to be a discount retailer. You can purchase a top quality system from us, at a significant discount, and keep your current oxygen equipment you may be getting through insurances.

Can I fly with the XPLO POC?

Yes! The XPLOR portable oxygen machine is FAA Approved. Each machine has a label on the back indicating it is FAA Approved. 

How much does the XPLOR cost?

Your out-of-pocket cost depends on which XPLOR package you choose. You can customize a package that works best for you and your budget. • CARE DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DISASSEMBLE THE DEVICE YOURSELF. To clean the exterior, wipe the outside surface of the case with a cloth dampened with a mild liquid detergent and water solution at room temperature. Clean the air intake filter with a mild liquid detergent and water solution at room temperature and dry before re-using.
